Normally, investors relax and get confident when the title to a property is Certificate of Occupancy (C of O), but during a land dispute, what can happen to your C of O property.
Regardless of the title to a property in Nigeria, either it’s C of O, Governor’s Consent, Excision etc. during a land dispute case in court, each party must tender their statutory right of ownership.
