Why Is Naira Appreciating Against The Dollar?

In the past 4 weeks, the naira to dollar rate have switched sides, naira is gaining, but why is the naira appreciating against the dollar?

Although, the gains by the naira don’t look much, N50 appreciation today, N100 appreciation another day, but when you start converting hundreds of thousands of USD, the difference becomes 6 figures. Therefore, in any way you analyse the naira appreciation since March, it’s still massive, but why is the dollar falling against the naira?
Despite the naira gains in the forex market, it hasn’t translate much in bringing down commodity prices or Nigeria inflation rates, we are still hopeful.

It’s important to point it out that the dollar rate since December has been artificial, it’s been a bubble, it was simply an artificial scarcity and a spike in Nigerians preferring to hold their naira earnings in USD. However, the tables have changed, and more people want to hold naira now, including Nigerians abroad. Demand and supply is a big factor in forex, no patriotism, Nigerians only do what makes them richer, as simple as that.
